What you will do

‍

As a Software Development Manager, you lead multiple teams that process and analyze vast amounts of social media data to deliver valuable insights to our customers. At the same time, you are responsible for optimizing Coosto for more than 20,000 users. You ensure they can work smoothly and effectively with our platform, enabling them to excel in their daily work and social media strategies.

• You build and maintain a high-performing development team (recruitment, coaching, performance management, and team development).
• You create an annual plan aligned with the organizational strategy and monitor progress, feasibility, and priorities.
• You translate the product roadmap into clear technical objectives and drive quality, scalability, and the reduction of technical debt.
• You safeguard software quality and security by applying best practices in development, testing, and code reviews.
• You collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to align technical and business objectives.
• You optimize development processes and promote agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
• You coordinate incident management when needed and minimize customer impact.
• You report on team performance, quality, and progress, and provide targeted improvement proposals.

• You have sufficient technical expertise to provide direction on architecture, scalability, and secure development.
• You are decisive and solution-oriented, take ownership during incidents, and act quickly and in a structured manner.

Furthermore you have

‍

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience leading software development team(s).
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Several years of experience in a SaaS environment is a plus.
