What you will do

As a Front-End Developer, you design and develop user-friendly applications with the needs of the end user at the center. You build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality front-end solutions and work closely with designers, developers, and product management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Developing testable, readable, robust, and secure front-end code, including properly handling edge cases and errors.
  • Implementing comprehensive test strategies (unit, integration, and UI tests).
  • Reviewing colleagues’ code and incorporating feedback on your own work, including identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Translating UX/UI designs into intuitive and high-quality user interfaces in collaboration with designers.
  • Maintaining critical systems and safeguarding performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Analyzing operational data and proposing improvements to enhance stability and performance.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving (potential) issues to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Systematically debugging problems and delivering sustainable solutions.
  • Actively participating in the agile process and planning and communicating progress reliably.
  • Advising Product Management on technical feasibility, planning, and non-functional requirements.
  • Contributing to and working according to development best practices such as code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Supporting team members and contributing to technical discussions within the team.
  • Acting in accordance with security, privacy, and safety guidelines and timely identifying deviations.

  • You are results-oriented and deliver reliable, maintainable software on time and in line with quality standards.
  • You are customer-focused and think from the end-user perspective when developing solutions.
  • You are quality-conscious and value testability, scalability, security, and code readability.
  • You enjoy working in an agile team and communicate openly and transparently about progress and challenges.
  • You have strong technical expertise in modern front-end development and performance optimization; experience with modern software development approaches such as CD (Continuous Delivery), Scrum, BDD, and TDD; extensive experience with TypeScript, CSS, and VueJS.
  • You are analytical and strong in problem-solving; you quickly identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.

Additionally, you have:

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Front-End development role.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
