Web Programmer

Are you a student, or have you just graduated and are you looking for a part time IT job? This is your chance! At Coosto we are looking for a part time web programmer for 24 hours a week.

What will you be doing?

Coosto delivers software solutions for social media listening and web care and is market leader in the Netherlands. We process millions of social media messages (Twitter, Facebook, blogs, fora) and make these available in a database which can be used by hundreds of customers at the same time. Our Data Division is responsible for bringing in and extracting this data and we do that by the means of various software and scripts. For the programming and further development of this software and these scripts, we are currently looking for a web programmer.

As a part time web programmer at Coosto you are going to design and program scripts to support our data intake and the data extraction software. These scripts range from simple configurations up to sophisticated scripts. You will be working in a team with various technical specialists and you will have lots of freedom. You will report your Team Lead.

What do you need for that?

  • Knowledge of programming; it’s a big plus if you have developed in Python;
  • Enthusiasm, independency, a hands-on mentality and an inquiring attitude;
  • Familiarity with terms like HTML, HTTP, XPath, PHP, Bash and Regular Expressions;
     

  • It’s a plus if you have experience with Linux OS;
  • You are available for 24 hours a week;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
